Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN Position):
  • Adult Experience acute care setting and/or home care

  • Pediatric experience preferred (but will train)

 

Responsibilities for LPN:

  • Administration of prescribed medication, treatment, and therapy

  • Communication with other members of the client’s multi-disciplinary team

  • Supply management

  • Emergency management

 

Qualifications for LPN:

  • Current LPN license in good standing (in the applicable state)

  • Current CPR certification

  • Minimum 6 months as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

 

Registered Nurse (RN) Position
  • Adult Experience in an acute setting 

  • Pediatric experience preferred in an acute setting (but will train)

 

Responsibilities for RN:

  • Follow a designated care plan in accordance with the patient's needs 

  • Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures

  • Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager

  • Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders

  • Perform client assessments as necessary

  • Case management and coordination

  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided

 

Qualifications for RN:

  • A current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina

  • A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical acute care setting experience.

  • Prior acute home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.

  • Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.

  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

  • Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

 

Companion, Sitter or Respite Position

Homemaker & Companion responsibilities vary slightly from client to client but may include...

  • Perform light homemaking assistance

  • Meal preparation

  • Grocery shopping

  • Companionship

 

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Position
  • Experience in acute care setting strongly preferred

  • One year of verifiable work experience

 

Responsibilities for CNA:

  • Activities of daily living

  • Light housekeeping

  • Bathing

  • Dressing

  • Grooming

  • Toileting

  • Nail care

  • Range of motion / exercises

  • Transfers / Use of mechanical lifting devices

  • Oral feeding

  • Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration

  • Bed making, etc. 

  • Assisting with ambulation

Qualifications for CNA: 

  • Minimum one year of work experience 

  • Certificate of at least 75 hours of Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA training 

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant license in North Carolina
